I couldn’t have gotten here without you

This is a short list of just some of the people and organizations who have helped me along the way. I am so grateful for all of you!

Presented in no particular order, and will be updated. If you’re not up here yet, I haven’t forgotten.

First, a few words to mentors and teachers-

Scobie and Sarah Puchtler- Moral guides, Emotional Intelligence mentors, definition of “got your back” friends. Scobie’s guidance helped me develop my writing. As if that weren’t enough, Scobie provided graphic design help for Aurora album art, is the reason I’ve got a fantastic piano sound, and countless other kindnesses. Oh! And he let me fly his plane.

Mike Sebring- Basically my life-long production and engineering mentor, has believed in me since I was 6 years old. Maybe 5. Patient, trusted me, pushed me to cross comfort zones and taught me so much. Continues to teach me!

Jesse Stout- Perfect music teacher for a kid who wanted to learn his own way. Also a kind role model who demonstrated how to be yourself in the world. Supported and expanded my creative thinking and playfulness.

Pat Fry- Consistent, kind, fun, passionate. The very image of the metal guy who is a wonderful human.

Liana Green- Always kept me moving forward. Taught me to be organized. A truly amazing music mentor and life guide.

Erik Rosencranz- Every kid should have a role model like Erik. I can’t start because I wouldn’t be able to stop.

Bob Croslin- Can’t believe I got a professional photo shoot from him! I mean, I believe it, and I’m incredibly grateful. Wonderful person, wonderful family, amazing photographer

Jack Endino- Thanks for teaching me that legends can be normal people who can also be incredibly easy-going and kind. Also thanks for expanding my understanding of production and engineering

Scott and Melissa Bilstad- Of course, when you’re a kid you don’t realize how lucky you are. Scott, ie “Chloe’s dad,” has encouraged me, supported me, given me platforms, pushed me gently but firmly, and been a role model of how to be a good human and father.
